Associate Product & MERN Stack Developer

We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Associate Product & MERN Stack Developer to join our Chennai team. This is a hybrid product-development role where you will wear multiple hats — gathering and documenting business requirements, participating in client-facing product demos, and building scalable full-stack web applications using the MERN stack. The ideal candidate actively uses AI tools to accelerate development workflows, improve code quality, and solve problems efficiently. You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
What You'll Do
Business Requirements & Analysis
- chevron_right Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements
- chevron_right Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- chevron_right Participate in discovery sessions and requirement review meetings
- chevron_right Maintain structured documentation using tools such as Notion, Confluence, or equivalent
- chevron_right Identify gaps, conflicts, and ambiguities in requirements
- chevron_right Serve as a connector between business stakeholders and the engineering team
- chevron_right Assist in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and effort estimation
- chevron_right Coordinate with QA teams to ensure test cases align with requirements
- chevron_right Communicate project status, blockers, and risks
Product Demonstrations & Client Interaction
- chevron_right Prepare and deliver product demos to clients and stakeholders
- chevron_right Understand client pain points and present solutions clearly
- chevron_right Gather and convert feedback into actionable tasks
- chevron_right Coordinate with teams to tailor demos for different use cases
MERN Stack Development
- chevron_right Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
- chevron_right Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- chevron_right Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React.js
- chevron_right Manage database schemas and data modelling
- chevron_right Write clean, modular, and well-documented code
- chevron_right Debug, optimize, and improve performance, security, and scalability
- chevron_right Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards
AI Tools Proficiency
- chevron_right Use AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude) for development workflows
- chevron_right Leverage AI for code generation, debugging, and documentation
- chevron_right Explore AI-based solutions to automate workflows
- chevron_right Stay updated with emerging AI tools and practices
- chevron_right Validate and refine AI-generated outputs before use
What We're Looking For
Education
- chevron_right Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- chevron_right 1–3 years of professional experience in a development or product-focused role
- chevron_right 2–3 years of experience in business requirement gathering and documentation
- chevron_right 1–2 years of hands-on MERN stack development experience
